Un par de días más tarde conocí a Sally en una de las aulas de NYFA. Hicimos este "ejercicio" habiendo cruzado 3 palabras y me quedé extasiado con el personaje que creó en solo 5 minutos.
Cuando volví a España hablábamos casi semanalmente de volver a currar juntos. Ella fue la que me impulsó a ir a Cannes con ese corto que rodamos y allí volvimos a poner sobre la mesa la intención de encontrarnos con una cámara por en medio. Y es que Sally es talento puro, con una capacidad envidiable para comerse el mundo. En cada proyecto que la veo reconozco un personaje nuevo y nunca veo a Mrs. Greenland.
Y por fin ese proyecto ha llegado.

I was at Lexington Av and 64th (I think so) when Renan -wonderful actress who I worked with in a lot of projects in NYC- told me about the perfect actress for our next shortfilm "12:26-12:31".
I met Sally couple days later at NYFA. We did this "exercise" all together and we had barely spoken three words but she brought this character into a life in 5 minutes which proved how amazing she was.
When I came back to Spain we usually talked every week about working together again. She was the reason why I went to Cannes with that shortfilm last year and when we were there we put that idea over the table of seeing each other again with a camera between us. And Sally is raw talent, with this amazing, enviable capability to eat the world. In every single project that she's in, I always see a new character and never the actress.
At last that project has come.
