Cuando me preguntan por qué NYC, ¿por qué irse al otro lado del charco a rodar esta historia? 
Porque esa ciudad me cambió.

Creo que esta historia, de haber sido contada por otra persona, podría ocurrir en cualquier otra ciudad del mundo, solo dependería de dónde ella/él sienta que se encontró a si mism@: Londres, París, Barcelona, Katmandú o Melbourne. Cada un@ tenemos esa ciudad que significa un punto de giro en nuestra vida, ¿no?

Y si has estado en NYC puede que entiendas perfectamente lo que intentamos contar antes incluso de saber qué queremos contar, o puede que no. Puede que NYC te parezca una ciudad más.
En cualquier caso, NYC, nuestro sexto personaje, no lo es por grande o espectacular, sino por lo que supone para los personajes, supone para muchos que están allí y supuso para mi.

Y me la juego a que tú también tienes esa ciudad. Lo mismo tu película tiene otro nombre pero el mismo mensaje.

When someone askes me why NYC, why are shooting this story so far from where you are now?

Because that city changed me.

I do believe this story could take place in any city of the world, just depends on who is telling it, where she/he feels that she/he found him/herself: London, Paris, Barcelona, Katamandu, Melbourne. Everyone of us have that city that means a turning point in our life, doesn't it?

And if you've been on NYC you can understand what we're trying to tell, even before you know the story behind this movie. Or maybe you're not. Maybe NYC is just another city else.
It really doesn't matter because NYC -our sixth character- is not the place where this story happens because of how big or espectacular is but what it means for our characters, for people who lives there and for me.

And I bet you also have a city which means something like that for you. Maybe your movie has another title but same message.
