DÍA 08 EN NYC / DAY 08 IN NYC

Una vida para rodar esta escena.
Empezamos con ventisca en Transmitter Park rodando una de esos momentos a los que más respeto tenía. Pero funcionó, aunque tengamos cosillas que probablemente tengamos que solucionar en postpo.

Paramos para comer y descansar. Tiempo que aprovechó el clima para hacernos el favor de llover todo lo que tenía que llover ese día.

Así cogimos camino para Bryant Park, el lugar que más se me quedó marcado la primera vez que pisé NYC en 2003. 

Cuando empecé la reescritura de este proyecto sabía que una de las escenas más importante tendría lugar ahí. Y por fin tuve la suerte de poder rodar donde siempre había querido. 
Y tuve más suerte aún de que los dos protagonistas de esta escena la clavaran desde la primera a la última toma, con un equipo técnico al que deberle la vida, ofreciendo una generosidad desmesurada en un lugar icónico para esta película.

A life waiting for this scene.

We started on a hurricane in Transmitter Park, shooting one of those moment I respected the most. And it worked, maybe we need to fix some things in postpo.

We broke for lunch and rest: and it rained all it had to.

So we went to Bryant Park, the place which impressed me the most first time I came NYC in 2003.

When I rewrote this story I knew one the most important scene would take place in this park. And at last I was lucky enough to shoot where I always dreamed.

And I was even luckier than that thank to these actors who nailed from the first take to the last one, with an amazing crew who gave me wonderful generosity in a unforgettable place for this movie.
