EMOCIÓN Y ESTRUCTURA / EMOTION AND PLOT

El montaje de esta película está siendo increíblemente más divertido que cualquiera de los cortos montados hasta la fecha.
En un corto hay una historia, un mensaje y una sensación que transmitir, y el poco tiempo que tienes para hacerlo suele reducir las posibilidades de contarlo a la única que deliberadamente hayas decidido durante la preproducción -donde personalmente creo que está gran parte de lo que será el resultado final-.

Pues esta película es algo así pero con muchas más posibilidades para transmitir la historia, siento la libertad de poder jugar con todos los elementos que hay en ella con el fin de que el mensaje llegue.

La cuestión es que llega un punto en el que obcecas tanto con ese juego de elementos que resulta complicado llevar a ver la emoción detrás de la estructura que estás construyendo. 
Pues en este cuarto corte de montaje, por primera vez, la he visto.

Esta película, como casi todas, tiene un mensaje, pero este mensaje está apoyado en las sensaciones que transmiten los personajes.

En el último visionado he sido testigo, por primera vez, de esa emoción. 
Está ahí.

Editing this movie is having more fun than any other short film I've made until today.

There is a story, a message and a feeling to tell in a short film but the running time is so insufficient that you only have one way to do it, the one you've deliberately decided on prep -where I do think you really build the final result-.

This feature film is something like that but with way more possibilities to tell the story. I feel free to play with every single element in order to make this journey comes to the end.

You are so focus on that game of elements that you're not able to the see the emotion behind the plot.

Well, I've just seen it in this fourth cut. For the very first time I did it.

This movie -like every movie- has a message but this one leans on character's feelings.

I've witnessed that emotion for the very first time in this last cut.

It's there.
