MENSAJE DE LA PRODUCTORA / MESSAGE FROM THE PRODUCER

Cuando llevas un tiempo trabajando en producción te das cuenta de que a veces la dificultad de materializar ideas es infinita. Hay gente que es un pozo interminable de ideas, una y otra y otra... Te lo cuentan y TODAS ellas las presentan como maravillosas y estupendas pero al final... blof! desaparecen en la inmensidad. Porque no todas ellas son maravillosas y estupendas. Porque una cosa es decir "quiero hacer" y otra muy diferente "voy a hacer". Dani no quiere, hace. Y es algo que le convierte en alguien muy especial. 

Un día a principios de diciembre, recibí un mail de Dani explicándome la idea para este proyecto. No sólo iba a hacerlo sino que dijo "es lo único que puedo hacer ahora". A mí me pareció un poco dramático, pero es que Dani tiende al dramatismo. Me dijo, sólo quiero una cosa para que me confirmes que estás en el proyecto, que leas el guión y TE GUSTE. Yo ya sabía que me iba a gustar. Seamos sinceros, seguramente si Dani quisiera hacer un mojón pinchado en un palo le diría que sí, adjuntando un montón de anotaciones para convertirlo en un mojón con lazo.

Casi dos meses después aquí estamos con la preproducción a todo trapo y una colección de carpetas llena de documentos, desgloses, presupuestos... Con el equipo y el reparto casi cerrado y unas cuantas cosas por confirmar. Os lo iremos contando todo aquí poco a poco ;)

When you have been working in production for a while you realize that materializing ideas is an endless difficulty. There's people that are an inexhaustible source of ideas, one right after the other. They tell you and present you ALL of them like wonderful and amazing ideas but at the end... blof! they disappear. Because not all of them are wonderful and amazing. Because one thing is saying "I want to do" and a very different one "I'm going to do". Dani doesn't want to, he does. And that's something that makes him a very special person.

One day at the beginning of December, I got an email from Dani explaining the idea for this project. He didn't say that he was going to do it, he said "it's the only thing I can do now". I thought that was pretty dramatic, but Dani likes to be dramatic sometimes. He said, I just want one thing from you to say yes to the project, that you read the script and YOU LIKE IT. I knew I was going to like it. Let's be honest, probably If Dani wants to do a whole big shit I would say yes and attach a bunch of notes to make it look like a really nice shit with a ribbon.

Almost two months later here we are in the middle of preproduction non stop with a huge folder with documents, breakdowns, budgets... Cast and crew almost confirmed and just some little things to close. We will be telling you everything here, bit by bit.
