EMOCIÓN Y ESTRUCTURA / EMOTION AND PLOT

Editing this movie is having more fun than any other short film I've made until today.
There is a story, a message and a feeling to tell in a short film but the running time is so insufficient that you only have one way to do it, the one you've deliberately decided on prep -where I do think you really build the final result-.

This feature film is something like that but with way more possibilities to tell the story. I feel free to play with every single element in order to make this journey comes to the end.
You are so focus on that game of elements that you're not able to the see the emotion behind the plot.
Well, I've just seen it in this fourth cut. For the very first time I did it.

This movie -like every movie- has a message but this one leans on character's feelings.
I've witnessed that emotion for the very first time in this last cut.
It's there.

I hope you'll see it.

ESTILO / STYLE

-------------------------------------------------------------
Right after finishing that cut which let us know if the story worked or not, I was looking forward to begin this new cut so I can work in every scene -not covering them but finding the style we developed when we made the shotlist-. So here we are -next to the second turning point- and I've got the feeling the movie is stronger and at the same time I can use some shots that I didn't see how before.

SUPERANDO PROBLEMAS / DEALING WITH TROUBLES

-------------------------------------------------
And when I say troubles I mean a fucking infection -or something like that- which made me sick for the last week, with fever and some issues with the my kidneys.
Anyway, it seems I'm getting better so I'm finally able to going back to work. So here I am, trying to improve one of the most important scenes of the movie.

EL PERSONAJE QUE ME REPRESENTA / THE CHARACTER WHO REPRESENTS ME

-----------------------------------------
I was with Rafa Melgar -an AMAZING worker who is behind something which helps to show you another face of this project- waiting for shooting an important scene with some dealer guy on it and he asked this:
-¿Which one is the character who represents you in this story the most?
Everyone -that's obvious- but this one shows a face of myself that I try to hide everyday.

We keep working on changing the actual face of this movie.

DOS CARAS / TWO FACES

CAMBIANDO EL PRIMER ACTO / CHANGING THE FIRST ACT

------------------------------------------
Se here I am, thinking about something so simple like when I'm going to place the credits for the cast at the beginning of the movie and I'm realized there is an option of changing the order of some scene which helps to firm two basics points up in the first 15 minutes in a better way than it was placed in the script.
I'm going to put them together and send it to the boss in order to check what she thinks.
