PRIMERAS CRÍTICAS / FIRST REVIEWS

Yo sigo en esa búsqueda de ese Santo Grial que es saber de verdad la película que tienes. Y desde hace un par de semanas ahí que andamos enviando la película a cuantas más personas se pueda para conocer su opinión de ellas.

Y las primeras críticas empiezan a surgir:

"Apta para todas esas personas que se encuentren perdidas y no sepan cual es su lugar, para esas personas que no saben que rumbo seguir".

María Cabal, en su página muestra una implicación con la historia que es el máximo objetivo que uno tiene cuando se pone a escribir una historia como esta.

"...nos muestra que podemos encontrarnos a nosotros mismos y salir del estancamiento en el que estamos gracias a una ciudad, un acontecimiento o una persona porque como dice un personaje: hay gente que te da un momento que define tu vida".

Palabra de la web El Palomitron quienes reforzarían la trama de algunos personajes mientras que ven un cariño y cuidado por el trabajo digno de este equipazo que ha levantado esta historia.

"Eso es Encontrados en NYC: una historia que se bifurca en dos realidades para volver a confluir en una sola. En definitiva, la vida misma".

Así ve Juanma Suárez nuestra película en su crítica, un viaje personal que le hace acuñarnos el término de running-movie por aquello de que nuestros personajes van de un lado a otro a la carrera, porque eso es Nueva York, el tedio de moverte a pie de un punto a otro mientras deja que la música que suena en tus cascos te acompañe.

"Encontrados en NYC es una muy buena cinta que sinceramente deseamos ver pronto en las carteleras de nuestros cines demostrando que con poco presupuesto y una buena idea también se pueden llenar las salas y ganar premios".

Desde Hemos Visto nos dan un 7,5 sobre 10. Poco más se puede decir.

"Y me gusta su mensaje, como un personaje en la pelicula, tambien yo estoy desesperado por encontrar mi sitio".

JM se identifica con la historia de estos personajes haciéndola suya. Vamos, ese sueño que se tiene por alcanzar cuando escribes una historia como esta. 

"...una sencilla película, que nos muestra curiosamente unas localizaciones, una visión de NY, que no es la habitual, mientras nuestros protagonistas van recorriendo la ciudad a pié, creando sus propios caminos a medida que se mueven por la ciudad".

Desde FinDeLaHistoria hablan de ese viaje iniciático en su crítica con la que estoy personalmente más que de acuerdo en MUCHOS puntos.

Así que ahí vamos, recibiendo muchos puntos de vistas, algunos en común y otros más dispares que te hacen pensar que el mensaje está llegando lo que hace que ya sea una cuestión de empatizar con éste en mayor o menos medida. 

Sin perder de vista que tenemos una película sencilla -una comedia al parecer- es hora de hacerla viajar a todas partes, y en esas que andamos...

Y se acerca el momento de dar nuevos pasos...

So here I am, running behind the Sant Grial which is to find out what the film we really have is. So we've been sending it to as much people as we can in order to know what they think of it.

And first reviews are here:

"This movie is for all of you who feel lost and don't know where your place in the world is, to those who doesn't know what road should take". 

María Cabal shows in her su website an identification with the story we've told which is the main goal when you put yourself behind a keyboard to write.

"...this film teaches us that we can find ourselves and run away from this life where we feel stuck in helping by a city, a situation or a person because as a character says: there are people who give you a moment which defines your life".

Word from the people of El Palomitron who would work hard on the plot of some supporting roles as they see at the same time a love and an affection for the story made by this amazing crew and cast.

"This is Met in NYC: a story that splits in two different realities in order to lead you to one: the life itself".

This is how Juanma Suárez sees our film in his review, a personal journey to make a new style called running-movie up because our characters walk by the city instead of take a cab or something. That's my POV of New York, a place to walk while you let the music in your headphones becomes in your faithfull partner.

"Met in NYC is a really good movie that we honestly hope we'll be able to watch in big screens just to prove that a low budget and a good idea are enough to fill theatres".

Hemos Visto give us a 7,5/10. Nothing else to say.

"And I like its message. Like a character says in the film, I'm desperate to find my place too".

JM sees himself in the film and the story and he makes it his which helps to make a dream come true, the one you have when you write a story like this.

"...a easy film that show us a face of NYC we've never seen before -which is not usual at all- while these characters walk by the city and building their own paths".

People from FinDeLaHistoria talk about this emotional journey in their review, the one I truly agree with in A LOT OF ways.

So here we go, reading as much POV as we can get, some of them have points in common and some other don't which make me think that the message is getting its way to the audience and it only depends if you empathize with it or not.

We have just a film which is something truly hard to get, and it's a comedy apparently. And it's time to make it travel to everywhere so there we go:
